Basics: zones 5-9, 24-32" maybe taller x 10-15", full to part sun to high, light shade, attractive large, white umbel comprised of tight clusters of tiny flowers that turn to a mauvy pink as the flowers age, blooms appear in mid to late summer on strong branching stalks out of a rosette of lovely grey-green leaves, moderate to low water needs, in the wild it grows at high elevations on rocky, alkaline soil but has proven quite adaptable to garden conditions as long as well-drained.
