Basics: zones 5-8, 8-12" x 12", full sun to light shade, forms a sweet little mound with satellite-like purple flowers in mid-summer, not fussy as to pH, wants good drainage and no wet feet in winter.

Habitat: rocky, high elevations in full sun
More: May self-seed if happy. Excellent in a rock garden or sunny, well-drained garden edge and attractive to pollinators. Good for detailed floral work like flower crowns, boutonnieres and bud vases.
