Origin/Distribution: The species P. paniculata is native to the eastern and central United States, but not Maine. 'David' was discovered as a renegade seedling in a local wild population at The Brandywine Conservancy in Pennsylvania

More: A classic summer bloomer that makes a good cut flower. 'David' is fragrant and somewhat mildew resistant.
