Sizes available: #1 (Trade gallon)
Basics: zones 4-8, 1.5-2' x 1.5-2', full sun to part sun, dark lavender flowers in early summer, needs good drainage, no winter wet
Common names: Siberian Catmint
Family: Lamiaceae
Origin/Distribution: The species is found in Siberia. This cultivar was introduced in 1948 by Dr. Frank Skinner and has been awarded the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit
Habitat: I have been unable to find much information on the species. Sources say a south or west facing edge with consistent moisture, but good drainage
More: This catmint is new to me. I am curious to see how it does with a good amount of morning sun in my oak tree bed. Some sources say it can do well in part shade. It has a more woodland feel to me than most of the other Nepetas.
