Basics: zones 5-8, 1.5-2" x 1-1.5', full sun to part shade, violet flowers with pronounced nectar guides bloom over mid-green foliage in midsummer, leaves turn shades of red in autumn, likes a well-drained spot but not too picky

Origin/Distribution: This species grows is found in areas of northern China and eastern Russia.
Habitat: The species is found in the damp grasslands of eastern Asia.
More: This is a charming, clump-forming perennial geranium that works well in a rock garden or border edge. I grew this from seed and have not decided where to plant it yet, but as I learn more, I will add more information here.
