Sizes available: #1 (Trade gallon)
Basics: zones 5-8, 24-30" x 24", full sun to part shade, pendulous pale pink bells over a rosette of heart-shaped leaves during mid summer, wants good drainage.
Common names: Korean Bellflower
Family: Campanulaceae
Origin/Distribution: The species is native to Korea
Habitat: More information coming soon.
More: This is a strong grower that does not want wet feet. The flowers are enjoyed by bumblebees in particular. The parentage of this hybrid is not settled. Perhaps a cross between C. takesimana and the closely related C. punctata. However, it looks a lot like the species C. takesimana. Self-seeding may be a problem, I will keep you posted. Other campanulas make a good cut flower. I am going to see if this one does as well.
