Basics: zone 3-9, 6-12' x 3-6' (suckering tendencies), will berry best in full sun, but can grow in part shade, white to pink flowers in spring ripen to red berries in fall, with the leaves also exhibiting nice fall color, requires medium moisture and is not picky as to soil type, can tolerate periodic flooding and boggy conditions but this is not a requirement. Is also drought tolerant.

Origin/Distribution: Native to Maine. Complete info soon.
Habitat: colonizes into thickets in both wet or dry soil, more info soon.
More: pollinators enjoy the nectar, the berries persist into the winter and are a good wildlife food source. Excellent for a hedge row planting. Offers shelter and nesting sites for birds. Has been used medicinally and berries are edible fresh (supposedly less astringent than Black Chokeberry) or processed into jelly and juice. More info soon.
