Sizes available: #1 (Trade gallon)
Basics: zones 4-9, 28-24" x 12", morning sun to part shade to full shade, creamy-edged leaves and a fragrant, greenish white flower on arching stems in late spring, likes woodland soils (and will appreciate a bit of lime - but I wouldn't add this unless it does not develop in its first season) and can take some drought, so does well under trees
Common names: this is a Fragrant Solomon's Seal cultivar developed for its variegated foliage
Family: Asparagaceae
Origin/distribution: parts of temperate Europe and Asia, native to England
Habitat: slopes and woodland; shady, rocky, well-drained, likes a dappled wood on limestone, but I think it's pretty adaptable
More: This plant will bulk up and spread by rhizome, and you want it to so you can feel free to cut stems for your flower arrangements and still have plenty left for the hummingbirds to feed on
Nursery: Van Berkum
