Basics: zones 4-8, 2" x 16", part to full shade, white to pale pink fragrant flowers bloom in late spring to early summer and ripen into red berries. acidic, wet to medium moisture in acidic woodland soils, adaptable to some drought in the shadiest spots, but grows much better with consistent moisture.

More: Like many woodland plants can take seasonal fluctuations in moisture, with it wetter in spring when the tree canopy is more open, and drier later under shadier conditions. This plant is a ground scrambler, has been used medicinally. and more information is coming soon.
