Sizes available: 2 quart
Basics: zones 4-8, 1-2' x 1', full sun, rose-pink blooms on wiry stems in the summer, wants well-drained soil, drought tolerant.
Common name: Carthusian Pink
Family: Caryophyllaceae
Origin/Distribution: Europe: Spain, north to Belgium and east to Poland and Ukraine, mountainous grasslands
Habitat: grassland habitats, up to 8,200 feet
More: This is one of the taller pinks. I have it growing in a sandy, sunny garden and it's doing really well. It's also good for a rock garden as although it is taller, it is see-through and appreciates the drainage. It has a long bloom time and is a nice addition to a bouquet.
