Sizes available: 5" pot
Basics: zones 2-7, sun to part sun, 4' x 4', leaves emerge orangey-red and change to chartreuse, medium water needs
Common names: Dwarf Birch
Family: Betulaceae
Origin/Distribution: a Proven Winners cultivar ('Golden Treasure') that was developed by Michal Andrusiv in the Czech Republic
Habitat: certain dwarf birches are found in ravines and plateaus in alpine regions
More: Very cold tolerant, adaptable, responds well to pruning, sparkling new growth, I added this plant to the nursery because I want to grow more shrubs in my own with bouquet potential (and a variety of twiggy structures) and this one looks like a good bet.
