Sizes available: #1 (Trade gallon) This plant has finished flowering for this year, but is ready to go in the ground for next year's show
Basics: Zones 4-9, 32" x 12-18", full sun to part shade, 6-8" globe of violet flowers in late spring-early summer, good dried flower, well-drained soil
Common names: Ornamental Onion
Family: Alliaceae
More: The foliage on A. 'Globemaster' must be left to die back naturally in order to nourish the bulb, however, it is not very attractive, so tuck these plants among other perennials that will obscure the senescing leaves of the allium. Makes a lovely cut flower either fresh or dried. Very attractive to pollinators.
Nursery: Van Berkum
